Recent Primark steals

I’ll admit it.. I’m a Primark addict! Wherever I go, I find a Primark to pop into. Who can refuse a bargain, especially when Primark’s prices are an absolute steal. Recently, Primark have been exceeding themselves and whenever I seem to pop in, I always go away with a bag full of new items. Over the past month I’ve picked up some of my favourite items and I thought I’d share them with you.

Primark Steals 1

Hands up if you’re obsessed with Love Island?! I’ve been waiting since the day it finished last year for it to return and I’m just as much obsessed this year as I have been the past three years. When I saw that Primark were bringing out some limited edition Love Island clothing, I couldn’t be more excited!  I’d already spotted out a few items I wanted to hunt down. I managed to find this super cute grey crop top with ‘islander’ embroidered underneath a palm tree – it doesn’t look too over the top and the length is a good length, just sitting above a pair of high waisted jeans and at only £6, I couldn’t resist!

If you can’t already tell, alongside my obsession with Love Island, I’m obsessed with crop tops. They are a staple piece in my wardrobe and are generally what I wear on a daily basis. I picked up these two cropped striped tops for £5. I saw the pink one featured on Lucy Jessica Carter’s May Primark vlog. It’s got ‘hug me’ embroidered on one side. I couldn’t find the pink one on my first trip, so picked up the black/pink/white striped one. These crop tees are just the right length, I’m 5ft 9in with a long torso but these still look a good length on me.

Now, I don’t know about you but I love watching Vlogs; especially Primark vlogs. I saw this cute bright blue top featured on one of Cary’s videos and for only £3, I had to pick it up when I saw it in store. I love a colour pop and again, it’s a really good length – not quite a crop top, but not quite a long tee. It comes in a variety of different colours, and I also picked up the grey version.

A top that isn’t cropped; Kim are you okay Hun?! I saw this cute tee all over my Instagram and had to pick it up when I was next in store. It looks really cute tucked into a pair of high waisted jeans and the bright yellow, adds a nice pop to a plain outfit. And for £4, how could I resist?

There are two colours that I’m infatuated with; mint green and mustard. I’ve loved everything mint coloured for the past five years but have only recently started liking mustard.

I picked up this mint green bardot top recently for only £4, bardot is very inright now and is perfect for summer. The other mint green top was only £6; the floral pattern added a different type of feel and made me feel super girly! Both tops again, are slightly cropped and would look equally cute with a denim skirt or a pair of white jeans.

Having a long torso has its downsides; bodysuits never sit right on me as I’m too tall for them. I usually rely on Boohoo tall for bodysuits but thought I would give this mustard striped bodysuit a shot. It’s quite a stretchy material and thankfully, actually fits me properly and for £4 was an absolute steal! I also picked up this mustard cut out crop top. It’s really simple, can be paired with just about anything and again, only cost £4.

With the UK weather being an absolute dreamboat at present, it was time to invest in a new denim skirt. It is probably a little bit short for me, I’m quite tall so I do struggle with any sort of mini skirt, it does however do the trick. In the autumn, I’ll pair the skirt with some tights and trainers. It was only £8 and I like the rugged edges of the bottom of the skirt.

Another one of the babes I follow on Insta is Alice Liveing; I saw her in a very similar styled dress to this one in red. It’s not a style I’d usually go for, but I’ve wanted to mix up my wardrobe for a while. This dress was also featured in Glamour magazine; it was reduced from £13 to £5, so I couldn’t say no. It’s a good dress to chuck on, to go to work in the summer but would be perfectly fine to head out in for cocktails in the evening.

Last, but not least; these gingham trousers from Primark. I love a tailored, cropped trouser and a paper-bag waist. Can you believe these are only £13? I couldn’t when I saw them and had to pick them up straight away. I knew that if I didn’t pick them up right away, the next time I’d go in, they’d be gone. I would wear these with a bralet and some small heels for a night but would also wear them to the office with a baggy cami black top tucked in and a pair of dolly shoes – very versatile.
