The Adventure To Me

Travelling the world, one country at a time ♡

Best Places For Brunch In Liverpool

kim| Liverpool+ UK+ Wanderlust

Food is a massive part of my travels; wherever I go, I’ll research places which are unique to where I am. Don’t get me wrong I love Cosy Club and Bills for breakfast, but I prefer to head to independent places when I’m exploring the UK.

Liverpool is one of my favourite cities in the UK and is not short of incredible places to eat. So, whether you fancy a traditional dish or something a little different and unique, I thought I’d put this guide together with the best places for brunch in Liverpool!

The Florist

Located: Hardman Street

Best Dish: Nutella & Biscoff French Toast

Browse the menu here

Maybe the most Instagrammable place in Liverpool! The Florist opened in 2018 and is now one of the most visited restaurants in Liverpool, and it’s no wonder why when the décor is that good – think pink and floral!

The Florist offers a bottomless brunch, which I am here for as I love a bottomless brunch. I opted for a full English as it worked out as a better value with the deal than the Nutella & Biscoff French Toast (which looks absolutely delicious!).

The Brunch Club

Located: Duke Street

Best Dish: Chorizo Scrambled Egg

The jungle vibe definitely lured me into the Brunch Club, as well as the Brunch menu being offered until 4 PM, making it a unique venue. Think a full English served all day – an absolute dream!

Obviously, I always look at menus before I head somewhere and the chorizo scrambled eggs got me. I am a massive lover of chorizo, and it comes with caramelised onion jam and goats cheese, making it a super delicious breakfast. I did order a hash brown on the side because hash browns are definitely in the top five of the best ways to eat potatoes!

As well as this, The Brunch Club offers the usual brunch dishes, but their menu is a little different too with a great selection of alternative brunch dishes. It’s definitely up there with one of the best brunches I’ve had!

Moose Coffee

Located: Dale Street, Hope Street or College Road

Best Dish: Double Dutch Pancakes

An authentic American/Canadian diner which serves brunch all day! Moose Coffee is one which I had read a lot about before visiting Liverpool for the second time and knew it was a must when heading back.

There are three Moose Coffee’s in Liverpool (as well as one in Leeds and two in Manchester), so if one is full you aren’t too far from another! We had to wait for a table to become available and it was packed the whole time we were there, so it’s definitely a place which you shouldn’t miss!

They’re known for their pancakes, whether you fancy them sweet or savoury that’s up to you, but it’s not short on options. In addition, they have standard brunch options like benedicts and all-day breakfasts. I had the Double Dutch Pancakes (fluffy pancakes filled with smoked sausage and bacon, topped with two eggs and some syrup), they were one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted and a dish I would highly recommend!

Neighbourhood

Located: Castle Street

Best Dish: Poke Bowl

An NYC inspired restaurant, their brunch menu is a little smaller than the others, but the dishes look incredible. Fancy a boozy brunch? For £35 you can have one of the brunch dishes accompanied by unlimited gin, vodka, prosecco, beer or seasonal cocktails! You could easily spend the whole day sipping on cocktails and admiring the fantastic décor!

Love Thy Neighbour

Located: Hatton Garden

Best Dish: Crispy Bacon & Maple Syrup Fluffy Pancakes

Browse the menu here

Another Instagram favourite! I saw the famous Love Thy Neighbour pink wall way back in 2018 before I visited Liverpool for the first time and was lured in by the pink wall (I love an Instagrammable place!). As well as the pink wall, the restaurant is stunning with industrial lighting and foliage!

Love Thy Neighbour is predominately vegan led, which is fantastic news! They offer healthier dishes such as smoothie bowls but also something which you can indulge in like a full English (There’s a veggie option of course!). The pancakes also look incredible, with various toppings you’ll find it hard to decide on which option to pick!

Leaf

Located: Bold Street

Best Dish: Turkish Eggs

Started as a small tea shop, Leaf is all about bringing a relaxed, initiate, bohemian vibe. If you’re a tea fan, then this is the place to visit with the wide range of tea they have on offer.

As well as a wonderful range of leaves, the breakfast and brunch menus are delicious. Whether you fancy something traditional like eggs benedict or something a bit special like their range of Turkish eggs or griddled sourdough, both of which are available with a choice of toppings!
