Love Thy Neighbour LiverpoolThe Girl Behind The Blog

I’m Kim, a twenty-something year old living in Devon. Living by the coast definitely has it’s perks, there’s nothing I enjoy more than a stroll along the beach on a Summers evening, eating Squire’s fish & chips or a Hocking’s ice cream (the best ice cream you’ll ever taste!). I graduated from UWE, in Bristol with a degree in Business & Events Management in 2017 with a dream of working in Marketing. I’m currently working as a Digital Marketing Exec (Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to be exact!) while I study a Masters in Marketing. With a love for music, cheesecake, glitter, Primark and city breaks; I’m your typical girly-girl who is constantly scrolling through Instagram, watching vlogs or talking about Love Island at any possible chance.

You’ll find me living in a tent in the Summer at a number of UK festivals, covered in glitter, space buns in tow with a can of cider in one hand and a gin in the other. In the Winter, you’ll find me planning my next adventure, complaining about the cold weather whilst lifting weights in the gym.

So, what’s The Adventure To Me all about?

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to travel the world. I used to get excited to go on holiday every year, which would usually be Spain as my mum doesn’t really like flying and was all about going on day trips; I remember going on a trip to Cribbs Causeway in Bristol when I was in secondary school and thinking how massive it was, little did I know years later I’d be working there!

I’ve always wanted to start a blog but have never got around to doing so, and when I finally did, it took me a while to decide on a name. My life has completely changed over the past five years, I’m learning more and more about myself each day and so the name The Adventure To Me was born! I found a love for marketing, so alongside working full-time I wanted to build a brand for myself and blog about all things I love.

On this blog, you’ll find my latest fashion finds, beauty favourites, travel tips and reviews alongside some more personal stuff; struggling to find a graduate job, missing university, lessons I’ve learnt in life and my non-existent love life!

I’m looking forward to sharing it all with you ♥
